Christopher "Chris" Stevens

Chris hails from Walterboro, S.C. He thanks his parents, Paul Stevens and Evangelist Viletta Buckner for his spiritual foundation and southern hospitality upbringing. Chris is a member of the Victory Christian Life Center (VCLC) in Upper Marlboro, M.D., under the guidance of Pastor, Marcellous A. Buckner, and First Lady, Avis D. Buckner.

Chris and Marcy work together in the Music & Fine Arts Ministry at VCLC where he is a talented percussionist and drummer. In addition, he is an ordained deacon; leads the men's fellowship, is an engineer in the audio department, and displays his love for God's word as a Sunday school instructor.

Chris' favorite scripture is Joshua 1:8; “Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, but mediate therein day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein for then you shall make your way prosperous and then you shall have good success” (KJV)

When Chris is not busy doing ministry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Natasha, and daughter, Jalynn. He also enjoys spending time with his extended family, church family, friends, and he is an avid golfer. Chris and his family make their home in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C.
