Damon "Money" Bray

Damon is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He began playing piano at the age of 11. He has played for various churches across the Washington, DC, metropolitan area for more than 17 years.
Damon and Marcy met a number of years ago while serving at separate ministries in the Washington metropolitan area. Who knew that years later God would reunite them to work together in the Music & Fine Arts Ministry at the Victory Life Christian Center (VLCC), where they worship and serve under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Marcellous A. Buckner.
At VLCC, Damon serves as the chief musician and Youth Pastor. Affectionately known as “Pastor Damon”, he is gifted in God's word and loves the youth. He works diligently with them and always has a “word” of encouragement no matter the situation.
Damon is a talented musician with an ear for change and uniqueness. EKKLESIA is blessed to have him. He has been with the group from its inception. Marcy writes the lyrics and melodies for most of the songs and once the two collaborate and it gets into Damon's hands, all one can say is “look out!” Together, and many times ‘on the spot' they write songs that touch the minds and hearts of people to give their lives to Christ. They are an anointed team whose spirits are open to receive whatever God gives!
When he is not working on music, Damon enjoys studying the Word of God. He also enjoy playing video games, board games, basketball, and of course his music! He is single and enjoys spending quality time with his son, Tre.
Because of Damon's desire to help other musicians to reach their fullest potential in music, he always enjoys a good four to five hour “jam session” with the other talented musicians at VLCC. He makes his home in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.
