Juanita Radden

Juanita is one of the newest members of EKKLESIA; she joined in June 2004 to assist with a performance and has remained with the group. She is a native Washingtonian. Her Christian experience was nurtured and cultivated at the Tried Stone Bible Way Church in Washington, DC, under the leadership of the late bishop Henry Williams. Her spiritual growth continued under the instruction of the late Elder Michael Morgan at the Greater Temple of Praise bible Way Church in Baltimore, MD. She currently is a member of the Victory Life Christian Cent (VLCC) in Upper Marlboro, MD, under the covering of Senior Pastor, Marcellous A. Buckner.

Juanita loves to travel, is an avid reader, and can always be found laughing or making you laugh. Everyone in the ministry knows they are loved when she refers to you by her signature term of endearment, “BAMMA”! She has always loved to sing! She comes from a musical background (her dad has several famous singing cousins: Johnny Mathis and Peabo Bryson), so one would say that singing is in her blood! She started singing at the age of four. Juanita has always been a part of local music ministries, whether in her home church or in the community (shout out to Total Victory Ministries), and she continues in that quest with EKKLESIA, spreading the gospel of Jesus in song.

Juanita and Marcy met several years ago. In June 2004, EKKLESIA needed to increase its territory, Juanita was offered and accepted the invitation to be part of the ministry and makes her voice known to all. Juanita says, “Ministering with EKKLESIA has been a true delight and an awesome learning experience. I feel abundantly blessed to be part of such an anointed ministry that has been called to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, to set at liberty them that are bruised; to preach the acceptable year of the Lord—all through song”!

Juanita is single and lives in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.
